The Pioneer SA-500 is an integrated stereo amplifier produced by Pioneer in the 1970s, a time when the Japanese brand established itself as a leader in the Hi-Fi field. This device is renowned for its robustness, elegant design and well-balanced sound quality, all in a compact format.

Fully transistor amplification, typical of amps of that time, offering a warm and smooth sound signature.

It has 4 inputs: a phono input (an input for a turntable, compatible with MM magnetic cells), two AUX Auxiliary inputs (to connect additional sources such as a CD player or a jack) and a tape input (input and output for a tape recorder or tape recorder).

Two pairs of outputs for connecting speakers (A and B, selectable individually or together).

Tone: Bass and Treble controls

Balance: Left/right adjustment to balance the sound

Loudness: a function to reinforce bass and treble at low volumes

Selector: allows you to switch between the different inputs

Compact and neat chassis, with a brushed aluminum front panel, buttons and potentiometers arranged in a clear and intuitive way. A typical 1970s aesthetic, often associated with a wood or metal finish.
