The JBL L36 were introduced in the “L” series, which also included the famous L100 Century.

Their sound is often described as dynamic and lively, with generous bass and a clear midrange, making them ideal for various musical styles such as rock, jazz or pop.

Real wood finish (walnut or teak, depending on the version), typical of the 1970s.

3-way configuration:
Woofer: 10 inches (model 125A), offering rich and powerful bass
Midrange: 5 inches (model LE5-6), known for its clarity
Tweeter: dome tweeter (model LE25-4) for precise and well-defined treble

Frequency response: approximately 40 Hz - 20 kHz

Sensitivity: 89 dB, which makes them relatively easy to drive with moderate power amplifiers

Filter (Crossover): Cut-off frequencies at 1500 Hz and 6000 Hz, allowing a good distribution of the signal between the speakers.
