

The JBL 4311-B is a version of the famous 4311 series, a range of iconic speakers originally designed for use in studio monitoring, but which have also found great success with audiophiles for home use.
This model, particularly appreciated for its sonic balance and robustness, is an evolution of the legendary 4310, often considered the inspiration for the famous L100 Century.
3-way configuration:
Woofer: model 2213H (12 inches), offering deep, precise and punchy bass. It is mounted in a large bass-reflex cabinet to maximize bass extension.
Midrange: model LE5-10 (5-inch cone driver), known for its clarity and precise reproduction of vocals and instruments in the midrange.
Tweeter: model LE25 (dome tweeter), which offers clear and detailed highs.
The reverse positioning of the woofer and other drivers (mirrored left/right arrangement) was a key feature for studio use, allowing for optimum sound dispersion.
Frequency response: Approximately 45 Hz and 15 kHz, with balanced and natural sound reproduction.
Sensitivity: 91-93 dB (1 watt at 1 meter), making them very efficient and compatible with moderate power amplifiers.
Power handling: Approximately 75 watts RMS (but can handle much higher peaks), which is sufficient for studio listening or in domestic environments.
Cabinet: Bass-reflex design, with a front port for more flexible placement, even close to a wall. Heavy duty speakers with vinyl or real wood finish (depending on the version)
Adjustable controls: potentiometers on the front panel to adjust the midrange and treble levels, allowing you to adapt the sound signature to the listening room or your preferences.
