B&O Beogram 4002
Electronically controlled stereo turntable with tangential arm
Manufactured: 1974 - 1980
Designer: Jacob Jensen
Following the iconic Beogram 4000 and produced before the Beogram 6000, the Beogram 4002 is the false twin of the 4000, equipped with different technology while keeping the same performance.
The 4000's electrically regulated AC motor was replaced by a DC Servo (later used in the Beogram 1902).
In terms of production, while the parts for the Beogram 4000 come from Switzerland, the parts for the Beogram 4002 come almost entirely from Japan.
